Painting and Printmaking

Capturing Life: From Organic Textures to Abstract Expressions

About

Capturing life

Emmanuel Monziès has a distinctive approach to printing, using living materials such as leaves or roots on paper or canvas, with a special affinity for monotype prints.

These artworks have been showcased in both solo and group exhibitions across various countries, including France, the United States, Canada, Spain, Italy, Dubai, and others.

Through his work, Emmanuel unveils the intricate and often overlooked beauty of the natural world, which we frequently neglect or even destroy. By employing shadows, imprints, and drawings, he brings to light the delicate textures and forms of life that surround us.

This exploration of nature’s subtle nuances has become the central theme of his artistic endeavors, with ‘Capturing life’ serving as the unifying thread that ties his diverse body of work together.
